Are You Brave Enough?

The first Key Concept emphasized by Moo Duk Kwan® Founder Hwang Kee in his martial art philosophy is courage (brave energy ~Yong Gi).

When we contemplate why this concept is first among all others, the logic of it becomes clear.

Until we can summon our brave energy to initiate action, nothing else is possible for us.

However, when we do summon our brave energy and take action, ANYTHING is possible for us.

Sometimes summoning our brave energy to follow an uncertain path or make a difficult decision can be challenging, yet in other circumstances, it may spring forth without thought and instantly empower us to meet the challenge of the moment.

Students training under instructors who provide them with a place to train and learn are receiving guidance from some of the bravest people on the planet.

Becoming an instructor or a school owner is a daunting undertaking requiring unflagging self-motivation, significant preparation, and tremendous personal investment in order to become one of less than 1% of 1% of all Soo Bahk Do® practitioners who do what they love and love what they do, becoming instructors and school owners dedicated to sharing the art.  (S.T.A.R.T.)  Now THAT is an elite group of brave individuals.

Courage is the single most important ingredient required for one to follow the uncertain path from student to instructor to school owner and those who have undertaken this journey may be willing to share their experience with those who want to START doing what they love and loving what they do.

Are You Brave Enough?
